We all search for radio – yearn for something to listen to – that feeds the brain, stimulates and entertains. The Listening Station came about after an exasperating long drive from London to Glasgow in which hours were spent searching in vain for anything that was fresh and attention-grabbing.

Technology can now allow us to have in-car access to the internet whilst on the move.

The Listening Station is different from anything else you will find online, its library assembled over many years by an enthusiast with very eclectic musical taste, the best of it gathered all together in one place to be shared with others.

Here, tracks which have provided goose-bump experiences during a lifetime of record collecting are included along with hundreds of exciting new discoveries from lesser-known artists all of whom deserve more widespread exposure.

Many have been brought to the attention of music lovers in the UK by the well-established roots music agency, Brookfield-Knights, or promoted by the folks at Bloodygreatpr.

In assembling the tasty rotations, lots of careful cherry-picking has gone on. There’s a little bit of looking back, some examination of gems which have been overlooked and a lot of enthusiastic looking ahead too.

The music library is updated regularly as more great discoveries emerge.

No chat – just music. No more hoping to get lucky…

Tune in, enjoy, and if you like it, please tell your friends and let them know that Brenda gets the credit for making this happen.
